Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty will be hosting the Quadrennial Ethics Course developed by the National Association of Realtors at its Jonesboro office on Wednesday, July 18.

The course, open to all Realtors, meets the NAR ethics requirement. After completion of the course, participants will have a better understanding of due process and code forcemeat, as well as how to handle complaints. Several case studies in ethics are part of the course.

The class, which will begin at 9 a.m., will be instructed by Howell Haunson, a partner with Morris/Hardwick/Schneider, who is director of education for the firm, who also serves as executive vice president of LandCastle Title.

Licensed real estate agents will only have to pay $10 for the course, which is normally priced at $25. Those interested in attending should contact Kelly Matthews at kmatthews@cbbullard.com. Reservations are required, since seating will be limited.

REAL ESTATE PRE-LICENSE COURSE SET THIS MONTH

Wade Gaddy instructs Pre-License course at CB Bullard Realty

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty’s Advantage School of Real Estate will present a Salesperson Pre-License Course starting Friday, April 27.

The 75-hour course will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be a total of 13 sessions. Classes will be at Coldwell Banker Bullard’s Peachtree City office at 201 Prime Pt.

Instructor will be Wade Gaddy, a certified appraiser and the founder of the Atlanta Institute of Real Estate. Gaddy, who has been associated with real estate education for over 30 years, is the author of several of several real estate texts, including “Real Estate Fundamentals”, and has served on the continuing education faculties of four Georgia universities.

Those interested in the course can enroll by mail or in person, and immediate pre-registration is recommended. More information can be obtained by calling Randy Couey at 770-775-5714 Ext. 101.

To quality for a real estate license in the state of Georgia, one must be a resident of the state, unless seeking a non-resident license; be at least 18 years of age; be a high school graduate or have a certificate of equivalency; complete the 75-hour Salesperson Pre-License Course; and pass a state real estate examination.

Lynn Thacker was recognized recently as the 2011 Top Producing Agent for Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty’s Jackson/Butts County office. Ray Bitrick was the office’s No. 2 individual producer for the year, while Debbie Ingram was No. 3.

Thacker was also recognized at Bullard’s No. 2 producer companywide for the past year, while Bitrick was No. 16. The recognition came at the Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty organization’s annual awards event.

The Metro South Association of Realtors (MSAR) also honored Thacker and Bitrick as members of its 2011 Circle of Excellence at the association’s recent awards celebration. They are both Active Members of the Circle of Excellence, and Thacker was recognized for over $2 million in sales during the year and Bitrick for over $1 million.

Jackie Scott, Jackie Scott Relocation DirectorJackie Scott, who has been with the company for 13 years, has been named director of the Relocation Department for Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty, the oldest and largest real estate company headquartered in the Metro South area of Atlanta.

Scott joined the organization as a Realtor 13 years ago and has worked relocation/inventory and corporate for the past 11 years. She holds the Cartus Network Affinity Services (CNAS), Cartus Network Marketing Specialist (CNMS), Cartus Network Inventory Specialist (CNIS) and Cartus Network Residential Specislist (CNRS) designations. Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty is the preferred broker of Cartus, the largest relocation company in the world, in the Metro South area of Atlanta.
