REAL ESTATE PRE-LICENSE COURSE SET THIS MONTH

Wade Gaddy instructs Pre-License course at CB Bullard Realty

Coldwell Banker Bullard Realty’s Advantage School of Real Estate will present a Salesperson Pre-License Course starting Friday, April 27.

The 75-hour course will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be a total of 13 sessions. Classes will be at Coldwell Banker Bullard’s Peachtree City office at 201 Prime Pt.

Instructor will be Wade Gaddy, a certified appraiser and the founder of the Atlanta Institute of Real Estate. Gaddy, who has been associated with real estate education for over 30 years, is the author of several of several real estate texts, including “Real Estate Fundamentals”, and has served on the continuing education faculties of four Georgia universities.

Those interested in the course can enroll by mail or in person, and immediate pre-registration is recommended. More information can be obtained by calling Randy Couey at 770-775-5714 Ext. 101.

To quality for a real estate license in the state of Georgia, one must be a resident of the state, unless seeking a non-resident license; be at least 18 years of age; be a high school graduate or have a certificate of equivalency; complete the 75-hour Salesperson Pre-License Course; and pass a state real estate examination.

Coweta County CourthouseFrom the thriving cotton industry in the mid nineteenth century, serving as a hub of medical treatment during the Civil War to one of the most rapidly growing cities in Georgia, Newnan has come a long way since its formation in the early 1800s. Newnan is one of those rare cities in the United States that have an encouraging youth population. With around 50 % of the population being students at different levels of education, the future is certainly bright for the city in Coweta County.

Newnan has always been a city that was distinguished for its literates and professionals. In its early days, the city was home to numerous doctors, lawyers and merchants. Having been a thriving city throughout, Newnan has undergone rapid commercial development over the last decade in the 21st century and has also witnessed a significant growth in population.
